Wicked Lips is the fifth extended play by Iggy Azalea, released under Bad Dreams & Empire Records. The project premiered on December 2, 2019 and it is expected to have physical versions —CD and cassette— available for purchase in Azalea's website.
Soon after she released her highly anticipated sophomore studio album In My Defense, Azalea started putting together material for a potential deluxe version of the project. With Juicy J, Carl Falk and frequent collaborator J. White being the main producers she worked with, she was unsure at the time whether the new songs would end up being part of a re-release or a complete separate project on their own.
Finally on September 17, 2019 she announced on Twitter that the upcoming project is an EP, due to the new songs not fitting in with the tone and cohesiveness of In My Defense.
The 4-track extended play was released on December 2nd, and it was preceded by a single with its music video. The first single was released on November 8 and was titled "Lola". It features Alice Chater and includes a sample of "Mambo Italiano".
Answering a fan on her Twitter, Iggy Azalea expresses a desire to have Kesha on her new EP:
"I'd love to. I have something I want to show her but let's see. I really want to collaborate with Kesha".
However, no collaboration with Kesha appeared in the project.
