"Bounce" is a song by Australian rapper Iggy Azalea from her debut album, The New Classic (2014). Written by Azalea, Speedy Jay, Talay Riley, Oladayo Olatunji and Natalie Sims, it was produced and co-written by Reeva & Black. The summer anthem differed stylistically from Azalea's previous releases, with club and pop-rap influences.

Critical reception and success

The song was generally well received by music critics, and was compared to American recording artist Ke$ha and Dutch band 2 Unlimited.

"Bounce" was more successful than Azalea's previous single ("Work") in the United Kingdom, reaching number 13 on the UK Singles Chart. It made the top ten in Scotland and on the UK R&B Chart, and charted in Australia, Belgium and Ireland. The song's popularity was enhanced by a DJ Green Lantern remix for the soundtrack of the American film, Vampire Academy (2014).

Music video

The music video for "Bounce", directed by Japanese-American directing team BRTHR (Alex Lee and Kyle Wightman), was filmed in Mumbai. The video featured Azalea performing traditional Indian dances at a Holi celebration, riding an elephant through the streets of Mumbai and wearing a traditional sari. It was nominated for an mtvU Woodie Award.
